Artist Members of Fishers Arts Council

Beth Miller
Miller Modern Art
After designing our home interior, I set out to create a few pieces of art for the dining room and family room walls. After creating those, it left me still inspired and I needed an outlet. So, I converted a room into my own perfect getaway and my journey into fluid art began.
I started following several artists and exploring many different painting options and settled on fluid art. I love commission art and am inspired to take that on based on your personal requirements. Contact me if you would like to schedule a commission consultation.
I find creating art so centering and appreciate your support and getting to know me.

Mansoureh Sameni
Science and Art
I’ve always been interested in learning both science and art. In college, I studied and completed my graduate degree in pharmacology and cancer biology, then began my career as a research scientist. I have worked in cancer research for nearly 30 years, publishing numerous papers as a first author or co-author.
The vibrant images I captured from live cells during my research were featured in textbooks and cancer research publications. For me, using 3D imaging techniques to view the colorful contents of living cells felt much like creating watercolor or oil/cold wax paintings or practicing nature photography. Images of living cells, watercolor, and oil/cold wax paintings share several attributes—colors, shapes, and movement.
As an artist, I strive to blend my background with my painting, seeking connections between these fields. This pursuit led me to take numerous art classes and workshops to expand my skills. My paintings have
been featured in multiple juried exhibitions and selected as the best of the show. Painting nature—a place where you can see reflections of light bouncing around, bringing all areas of harmony and shadows to life, and know that you can capture a slice of it—is remarkable. In my abstract painting of nature, I prioritize light and color over precise detail. I utilize color to convey my emotions and moods, often using bold and unexpected palettes.
My abstract painting engages viewers, encouraging them to interpret the work based on their feelings and experiences rather than a specific narrative. I use tools like palette knives, squeegees, brayers, and rarely brushes for my oil/cold wax painting to create different textures and effects. I selectively add
many layers of paint, then dissolve, scrape, and eliminate portions of layers, simplifying forms into organic and inorganic shapes and creating a sense of landscape without recognizable elements.

Aleasha Morris
Aleasha Morris Art
Aleasha creates acrylic and oil paintings that celebrate color, texture, and movement. While she uses traditional tools, some of her work comes to life solely through the expressive and tactile art of finger painting. This unique method gives her pieces a raw, personal, and dynamic quality. Original paintings and high-quality prints are available for purchase through her website.

John Dierdorf
JK Design Decor
John Dierdorf studied architecture at Ball State and is retired from a 45 year career as an Architect. He painted off and on after college. Working in acrylics the last 15 years, he has been more focused as he developed his loose and spontaneous brushstrokes, bold colors, and impressionistic painting style. His subject matter is primarily florals, gardens, and landscapes.
John’s upcoming Artist Showcase at the Meyer Najem Second Floor Gallery takes place in July, August, and September 2025 with a reception as part of the FAC Second Friday Gallery Hop on August 8th from 5:00pm to 7:30pm.

Lynda M. Parziale
Acrylic Creations
The intention of my art is to trigger the viewer’s imagination, free associations and memories. I hope each viewer, due to their personal experiences, gathers something unique from my creations.

I began my acrylic exploration in 2024 at the age of 78. Yes – it can be achieved! I have sold pieces locally and have 8 pieces of my artwork in a new commercial building in Boston, MA. During September 2025, the Judge Stone House, Noblesville will be the venue for my first solo exhibition. I will be joining with 3 other artists in October through December 2025 in the Hamilton County Community Collaboration Hub, Fishers show.

I would love to share my work with you.
